Make an Appointment using NAVIGATE

Note: The Navigate appointment system is only active in the Fall and Spring semesters. Summer and Intersession tutoring must be requested directly by calling 774.330.4352 or emailing tutoringcenter@themindbehind.net.

Schedule In-Person Tutoring OR Virtual tutoring:

• Go to My4Cs
• Choose Navigate
• Choose Appointments (left hand side bar)
• Click Schedule An Appointment (blue box, top right)
• With whom would you like to meet? Choose Tutoring.
• What would you like to discuss? Choose Course Based Tutoring to see a list of your current classes to choose from or choose a general subject of Basic Computer Help, Moodle Help, Study Skills, or Writing Any Course. If any of your courses don't appear on your list of choices, contact the Tutoring Center for help.
• Pick a date: Pick a date to see a list of upcoming appointments from that date forward.
• Click Find an Available Time (blue box)
• Answer the question, How would you like to meet? If you want to set the search to either In-Person or Virtual (Zoom) appointments ONLY. Use the drop-down box to set your preference. (otherwise, you will see all available appointments)
• Choose your course (if prompted)
• Choose your appointment date and time. 
• Review appointment Details and Confirm: Make sure to answer the question, How would you like to meet? now, if you haven't already done so. You will have to confirm your choice of in-person or virtual at this time.
• Click Schedule (blue box). confirmation will be sent to your 4Cs email.

Students can schedule one appointment per week, per subject. The schedule allows for bookings up to three weeks in advance from the current date.

How to Schedule Tutoring Center Appointments in Navigate

IN-PERSON APPOINTMENTS: Held in the Tutoring Center in MM Wilkens Hall, Room 111. (Except for AMT and Funeral Services Tutoring)

ZOOM APPOINTMENTS:  Your tutor will email you a Zoom meeting invitation at the start time of your scheduled appointment to begin your tutoring session. Please have your 4Cs email open to receive the Zoom link and be prepared for your session with your questions and materials you want to review.  

CANCELLATION POLICY: Please provide 24-hours' cancellation notice if you cannot attend your scheduled appointment.  Cancel your appointment in NAVIGATE or contact the Tutoring Center at 774.330.4352 or email at tutoringcenter@themindbehind.net

Multiple missed or late cancellation of appointments may result in restriction of your scheduling privileges for the remainder of the semester.
